Now starting her fifth year in business, hair professional and young entrepreneur Ms. Sarah Karmazin has built one of the most attractive and successful businesses in Morrisville.
“I’ve been professionally licensed and certified for the past twelve years, Karmazin said,” my goal has always been to build a full service hair salon.” It certainly seems she’s done so; on our visit there were both men and women clients requesting services ranging from styling to coloring (her specialty) to a high & tight.
Her salon also offers more than just individual services; she offers both on-site and in-house private reservations for weddings, birthday parties, quinceaneras, and other events. “Our goal is to provide a high end look and a high-end experience at a reasonable cost,” Karmazin explained.”We offer a veterans discount and we’ve donated our services to both Morrisville and Pennsbury school systems for their events. We take pride in being all-inclusive, and I want to use my business to help improve the community.”
Karmazin’s salon is an active member of the Morrisville and surrounding communities. They’ve donated to Morrisville Little Bulldogs football, and will be sponsoring an award at the upcoming (May 20) Morrisville Business Association Bridge Street Car Show.
While hair cutteries now seem as common and boring as pizza shops in America’s strip malls these days, her salon is decidedly upscale, attractive, and very clean. Hardwood flooring, attractive furnishings and wall décor; there’s not a velvet Elvis in sight; Karmazin’s vision is one of quiet elegance, and she’s succeeded.
While managed professionally, her business maintains a very family-friendly feel to it. That may be because her sister Elena is the Salon Coordinator, with mother Karen, while dog Sammy wanders the shop to the delight of both the younger and older clientele.
Ms. Karmazin was also proud to point out that her staff, now grown to eight, are also professionally trained and certified; adding that the Salon recently paid for them all to travel to Manhattan for additional training and recertification at the Javits Center. Such attention to professionalism is rewarded by very little staff turnover; her No. 2 stylist, Sarah Offermann has been with her almost from the Salon’s beginning.
This blend of charm and professionalism is reflected on their Google Reviews, with one from three weeks ago “The atmosphere was wonderful; calm yet so exciting to experience something new done to my hair,” or last month’s “Super cute salon, went for my first time last week and was very impressed with the atmosphere and my cut!”
The Morrisville Business Association is proud to have Sarah Elizabeth’s Hair & Color Salon as a member; if you don’t already use them, we hope you’ll try them soon!
